This past week we returned from Long Beach, CA. The best thing about this trip was the fact that it was free! Matt is very blessed to work for a company that treats their employees and spouses so well. They put a large emphasis on the spouses being an important role in business and that means I get a free vacation every year! This is not a typical work convention. Because this company is built on Christian values, most session are like a worship service. We got to hear Rick Warren (Purpose Driven Life), Dave Ramsey(Financial Peace), Nicole C Mullen, and many more. At night we all got a free movie ticket to see any movie, a night at Gameworks, and my favorite...a trip to Catalina Island.
On Catalina Island we got to tour the island and go on a submarine tour. This is the coolest place to see! It is so nice to visit places that we would probably never spend the time and money ourselves to see. Next year we found out we will be in Washington DC at the Gaylord hotel. We can't wait!

I love these pics and that you guys had a great time! It is my prayer for you both - that you always have the true blessing and luxury of taking that next trip planned - whether it is on ChickFilA's dime - or yours...Keep traveling...there is NOTHING more exciting than a new adventure and having your true love by your side...
